Lemon yellow hue with hints of green, fine bead and long lasting mousse. Walnut, praline and fresh sourdough secondary characters overlay dried fruit, lemon peel and baked fig aromas. Complex yet subtle notes of coffee bean and nougat add a further dimension to the nose.
The first two weeks of February were among the wettest on record, providing excellent soil moisture for the ripening period. From mid-February until March, mild daytime temperatures, cool nights and little rain allowed the grapes to ripen gradually, producing balanced yields and intense varietal characters.
